Israel-based woodworker Eli Chissick just unveiled the Mosaica coffee table, his latest piece in his furniture collection made from beautifully fused together wood. Composed from 2,385 pieces of scrap wood and veneer collected from carpentries around the city, the textured coffee table shows off a varied gradient that includes oak, emboya, wenge, walnut, maple, and other species. Originally intended for waste, these scrap materials have been combined to create a famous mosaic composition.
