We all know how important being around nature is for boosting morale and health, which is why Edible Schoolyard NYC needs your help to bring organic gardens to several disadvantaged schools in Harlem. The nonprofit, which partners with public schools to build gardens and kitchen classrooms, launched “Rooting for Harlem,” a Crowdwise campaign to support the expansion and maintenance of the courtyard gardens at P.S./M.S. 7 and Global Tech Middle School in East Harlem. The campaign ends tonight–so hurry, it’s not too late to pledge your support for this great cause!
