Researchers Find the World’s Oldest Pair of Pants

If you’ve ever wondered exactly when primitive people ditched loin clothes and tunics in favor of the pants we know and love today, the latest discovery in a Chinese excavation is right up your fashion alley. Researchers excavated the world’s oldest pants, which they estimate to be at least 3,000 years old, in a tomb in western China. The pants give us an idea about the shift to modern mounted warfare and allow us to see how primeval people constructed clothing. So what style did primitive man prefer? Hint: it wasn’t skinny jeans.
