São Paulo, Brazil is making history with newly signed legislation for a permanent parklet program in the city. The new decree, which marks the first legal change of its kind in Latin America, follows the success of last year’s temporary parklets experiment held during Environment Week. Each parklet must follow set construction standards and can be designed in a variety of styles and materials.
