Italian designer Tommaso Guerra is best known on Inhabitat for his whimsical upcycled lamp designs, and he’s applied those same creative principles to his design of the Romeow Cat Bistrot’s playful interior in Rome, Italy. Part cat cafe and part vegan bistro, the light-filled Romeow Cat Bistrot is crafted with a cozy and modern interior that evokes the feeling of home, while maintaining a sense of cleanliness. Guerra added high ledges, such as the floating bookshelves and a small tree installation, to give the cafe’s six cats a variety of climbing surfaces.
