French design collective Poetic Party created The Honey Bank, a clever art installation that brings awareness and investment to the fast disappearing honeybee populations. Putting a new spin on an old adage, Honey Bank posits “time is honey” and offers urban dwellers the chance to create a bee’s savings account with a return on investment in the form of delicious honey. Located outside the Paris stock market, the temporary participatory installation aimed to raise public awareness about the relationships between economics and ecology.
