Hi,
This page is currently being developed. This page checks Sustainability Blogs and RSS News Feeds for new content and posts it to here each day. The aim is to share information related to sustainability which is relevant to people living in Central Victoria while also providing a channel for international sustainability information. I am just discovering the Internets information sharing potential. I'd like to help other not so tech savvy people learn how to find interesting and new Sustainability info. Please tell me your favorite blogs or news sources and I will add them to the list.
Thanks

PhoneDrone turns your smartphone into an autonomous flying object

PhoneDrone, drone for smartphones, smartphone drone, wireless drone, wifi drone, personal drone, android drone, iphone drone
Ready to buy a drone but feeling like the cost is a bit prohibitive? You may be able to reduce the cost by turning your powerful smartphone into a PhoneDrone. Simply dock your phone in the drone and watch it go. What better incentive not to crash it? Designed by Indiana-based xCraft, the company is the same that gave us the X PlusOne drone, the PhoneDrone can be flown in a couple of ways. First, using a free app on your phone, users can enter a “flight path which the PhoneDrone will then autonomously follow.” The second way is to use another smartphone or tablet and keep that one with them and use it to manually pilot the drone via WiFi – they’ll also be able to watch live streaming video from the drone’s phone camera while doing so. The drone works with iPhone 4s and up as well as Android phones. The PhoneDrone is available through Kickstarter for $199.
