Detroit Electric’s SP:01 is the World’s Fastest Pure-Electric Production Car

Detroit Electric’s roots date back to the early 1900′s, but today many of us probably do not recognize the name. Well that’s all about to change later this year when Detroit Electric’s SP:01 electric sports car arrives. The SP:01 is set to hold the title of the fastest pure-electric car on the market when it arrives this fall and is the first of three models that will arrive by 2014.
