Mercedes-Benz will release 10 new plug-in hybrids by 2017

Not to be outdone by Audi or BMW, Mercedes-Benz has announced plans to release 10 new plug-in hybrid models by 2017, with at least two of those models arriving this fall. That’s a new plug-in vehicle every four months. Mercedes-Benz has also announced that the new models will be designated with a simple “e” instead of the longer “plug-in hybrid” branding.
