What if you could capture the night sky and bring the light of countless shining stars indoors? Budapest-based design duo Anna Farkas and Miklós Batisz’s new Starry Light LED pendant lamp does exactly that. The unique lamp provides local lighting while projecting a starry night sky on your ceiling through holes drilled in its hemispheric shade. The pendant’s LED light source—specially developed for Starry Light lamps—emits light beams of different strength upwards and downwards, thus creating ideal luminosity for an intimate dinner while conjuring the starry sky. The collection is based on Anna’s original idea of a lampshade as an art piece, and it’s set to debut next week at Tent London during the London Design Festival.
