Beijing-based MAD Architects and Chicago-based Studio Gang Architects just unveiled their futuristic designs for “Star Wars” creator George Lucas’ Museum of Narrative Art in Chicago. The undulating, organic design is consistent with the style of MAD Architects, a firm that has produced numerous mountain-like buildings in the past. Studio Gang Architects is in charge of the site’s landscape architecture, as well as the bridge design that will connect the museum to Northerly Island.
