London-based architecture practice Orproject recently installed a floating multi-colored canopy of dichroic film sheets for the Delhi Duty Free area at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Titled Lehar, the permanent cloud-like installation was designed to evoke the richness and many colors of 21st century India by reflecting and refracting sunlight into a rainbow of colors. The client commissioned the eye-catching but unobtrusive artwork to draw visitors to the retail area.
