The creative partnership A Future Perfect designed Meet Your Lamb, a set of basswood trays organically shaped like cuts of meat. Inspired by the Greek traditional celebration rituals of roasting lamb on Easter, these trays pay tribute to the lamb and reflect on the long-held tradition. When placed together over a faux leather fabric mat in the outline of a lamb’s shape, these food vessels invite the user, whether meat eater or vegetarian, to reconsider meat consumption and identify with the animal in a way that’s often absent in eating mass-produced meat. On the other hand, the meat shaped vessels can be used to highlight the contradiction and serve anything but meat such as bread, vegetables, and fruit, in all outdoor or indoor eating occasions.
