Hi,
This page is currently being developed. This page checks Sustainability Blogs and RSS News Feeds for new content and posts it to here each day. The aim is to share information related to sustainability which is relevant to people living in Central Victoria while also providing a channel for international sustainability information. I am just discovering the Internets information sharing potential. I'd like to help other not so tech savvy people learn how to find interesting and new Sustainability info. Please tell me your favorite blogs or news sources and I will add them to the list.
Thanks

Researchers in Oregon Expect Wasting Disease to Completely Wipe Out Starfish Populations in the Near Future

The sea star wasting syndrome has reached epidemic proportions and researchers expect that local starfish extinctions are all but guaranteed at this point. The syndrome, an awful disease that causes starfish to tear themselves apart, has been devastating starfish populations for months now with no signs of slowing. But the Oregon coast in particular has seen an explosion in wasting cases and scientists there expect that the purple ochre sea star will likely be wiped out in the near future, which could have a crippling impact on the ocean ecosystem there.
