Senegal has a serious environmental crisis on its hands. Between devastating deforestation, slash-and-burn agricultural practices, encroaching desertification, massive industrial waste and overgrazing, the country has a fight ahead if they want to tackle the issues. Photographer Fabrice Monteiro captured the situation in a series of dramatic tableaus titled The Prophecy.
