Hi,
This page is currently being developed. This page checks Sustainability Blogs and RSS News Feeds for new content and posts it to here each day. The aim is to share information related to sustainability which is relevant to people living in Central Victoria while also providing a channel for international sustainability information. I am just discovering the Internets information sharing potential. I'd like to help other not so tech savvy people learn how to find interesting and new Sustainability info. Please tell me your favorite blogs or news sources and I will add them to the list.
Thanks

Roofgarden Arnhem’s Watertower is a wooden flat-pack structure powered by the wind

Dutch architects Arno Geesink and Rick Tegelaar developed a flat-pack wind-powered Watertower for Roofgarden Arnhem. Inspired by the famous Shukhov tower, the lightweight 7.5-meter-tall, 1,000-liter-capacity structure can be assembled by hand and has sufficient pressure to power a sprinkler. Wind power produced by the tower’s windmill pumps the filtered rainwater up into the holding well, where it builds up pressure. Surplus energy is supplied back to the grid. The versatile Watertower was recently used to fill up wood-fired hot tubs at the Dutch music festival Into the Great Wide Open.
