The video above isn’t using any special effects or CGI. It’s a real mid-2000s Renault Megane estate, sitting in a parking lot in Italy, and it’s melting before your eyes. The scene was captured by a passing British tourist, when he noticed side moldings on the car door turning to goo and dripping onto the pavement. Extreme heat has plagued Italy this summer, with temps recently hovering in the high 90s Fahrenheit, which is more than 20 degrees above the average historical high temperatures.
