BREAKING: Cecil the lion’s brother Jericho killed by poachers

While the world is still mourning the loss of Cecil the lion, devastating news out of Zimbabwe reveals that his brother Jericho was killed today by poachers hunting illegally in the park. After Cecil was killed by American dentist Walter Palmer, experts feared that Cecil’s cubs would be killed by a rival lion looking to take over the pride, but Jericho had reportedly come to the rescue, protecting Cecil’s cubs. According to Johnny Rodrigues, Chairman for Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force, Jericho was slain Saturday at 4pm, but no further details were available.
