California Governor Jerry Brown signed the controversial mandatory vaccination bill into law today, June 30, making California only the third state in the nation to enact such legislation.“The science is clear,” Brown wrote in his signing statement, “that vaccines dramatically protect children against a number of infectious and dangerous diseases.” By adopting this bill as state law, California becomes the state with the toughest mandatory vaccine legislation on the books. The law effectively bans religious and philosophical exemptions for childhood vaccines for any child who enters public school in the state, beginning with kindergarten. Children currently enrolled in public schools who have an exemption on file will be grandfathered in until they reach the 7th grade, at which time they will be required to catch up with the state-mandated vaccination schedule. The two other (and much smaller) states with similar laws are Mississippi and West Virginia.

Suspended along an electro-polished stainless steel bar between spacers, hangers stay neat and organized to smoothly swing forward and back and/or move side-to-side for efficient hanging or removal of clothing. Hangers can be made in varying heights, to leave hanging space for long coats or to make them easy to reach for children or wheelchair users. Moreover, hangers can be loaded onto the bar in any order, according to the customer’s preference, to optimize the way they will be used.

Ford has announced the start of the new Peer-2-Peer Car Sharing program that will give customers the ability to rent their financed vehicles to other drivers. The new car sharing program is part of Ford’s Smart Mobility plan that was introduced earlier this year and will give owners the ability to offset some of their vehicle’s monthly costs. Ford Smart Mobility is the company’s plan to deliver the next level in connectivity, mobility and autonomous vehicles.
