SOMA Architects’ luxury Shaza Hotel breaks ground in Doha

SOMA Architects, Shaza Hotel, Doha, Qatar, Qatar hotel, Qatar architecture, luxury hotel, glass facade, arabesque facade, restaurant design, harsh climate, desert climate SOMA Architects’ recently broke ground on their new Shaza Hotel project in Doha, Qatar, with the goal of opening its doors in early 2016. In their plans for this iconic hotel, the architects came up with a design that offers luxury accommodation and entertainment—all located within walking distance of major tourist attractions, such as the famed Museum of Islamic Art, the Qatar National Museum and Souq Waqif.
