Spanish eco-design company Lucirmás has just revealed the 75cl lamp, the newest star in their line of upcycled glass bottle wares. Created in collaboration with designer Dario Martone, the 75cl lamp was created from a sparkling wine bottle, chosen for its easy-to-grab bottleneck. The decision to make the 75cl function as a flashlight was also a consequence of its shape. The end of the bottle is fitted with a 100% recycled wooden rim that allows the user to set the light on a flat surface. Alternatively, the lamp can be displayed as its original wine bottle shape, in which the bottom glass portion functions as a color filter to create a diffused green light.
