If you’ve ever dreamed of living in a castle in the sky, Urban Office Architecture’s “Aviator’s Villa” comes pretty darn close. The project was inspired by the feeling of being inside of an aircraft in flight, and as such was designed to be made out of salvaged airplane parts. Made up of three areas – an open living and kitchen space, a library, and an upstairs with an office and a cantilevered 40-foot bedroom – the lofty home achieves its goal with “flying” colors.
