We’ve seen 3D-printed lamps, chairs, houses and even self-replicating 3D printers, but Deniz Karahasin’s mindbending Osteoid cast looks like a thing from a sci-fi movie. The designer has created a concept design for a custom cast that can speed up bone healing and reduce the healing time by nearly 40 percent using 3D printing and ultrasound technology.
