Architecture student Felix Ruder designed Symbio, a 100% biodegradable stool as part of a class project at Sweden’s Lund School of Architecture. Inspired by Alan Wisman’s book “What Happens to the World Without Us,” the chair’s seat is made from reclaimed polished black granite and its legs are made from reclaimed oak. “One can watch how nature slowly eats the legs and all that is left is the stone,” writes Ruder.
