You might not believe it at first glance, but the elegant pendant lights you see above are not made in a factory – they’re grown from living mushrooms! Inhabitat favorite Danielle Trofe has developed a process for creating organic, biodegradable designs from mushroom mycelium – and she recently launched a new Cascade pendant light fitted with brass hardware that looks beautiful when hung solo or strung up in groups. If you’d like to pick one up, head on down to the Made in Brooklyn Holiday Market on November 22-23 from 10am to 6pm!
