JetBlue Recycles 18.5 Tons of Used Uniforms, Gives Landfill-Bound Fabric New Life

JetBlue’s latest environmentally friendly PR move looks like it’s going to make a sizable difference. Since June, the airline company has saved more than 18.5 tons of used uniforms, clothing, and fabric from landfills thanks to their new recycling program. Approximately a third of those textiles will be reused as clothing, while the remaining two-thirds will be shredded and used as upholstery filling or insulation.
