Designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec unveiled Ruutu, a collection of ten exquisite mouth-blown glass vases designed for the Finnish brand Iittala. Each vase takes seven craftsmen 24 hours to produce in Iittala’s glass factory due to its deceptively challenging shape and its delicate watercolor-like color palette. Named after the Finnish word meaning diamond or square, the Ruutu vase collection will come in five sizes and seven colors. Ruutu will be available for purchase January 2015.
