INFOGRAPHIC: The Rise of Cycling in Copenhagen

Bicycle infrastructure in the US is improving, but it still lags far behind Europe’s bike capitals – did you know that bicycles outnumber people in Copenhagen? There’s even 5 times more bikes than there are cars! Cykelvalg.dk recently launched a new infographic that tracks the prodigious progress of Coenhagen’s bicycle movement from the formation of the first Danish bicycle club in 1881 to the opening of the city’s new “Bicycle Snake” bridge this summer.
