Hi,
This page is currently being developed. This page checks Sustainability Blogs and RSS News Feeds for new content and posts it to here each day. The aim is to share information related to sustainability which is relevant to people living in Central Victoria while also providing a channel for international sustainability information. I am just discovering the Internets information sharing potential. I'd like to help other not so tech savvy people learn how to find interesting and new Sustainability info. Please tell me your favorite blogs or news sources and I will add them to the list.
Thanks

Several companies and designers joined forces to design this fantastic stackable honeycomb shelter in Belgium. Appropriately named B-and-BEE, the shelter was developed specifically to provide accommodation during the country’s many summer festivals. Very easy to setup and stackable to four floors high, it has an incredibly small footprint but still houses over 50 visitors in king-sized beds! The cells can be installed in the middle of the action and the bed doubles as a comfortable lounge seat, giving the program great flexibility. The B-and-BEE colonies are spaces of social interaction, relaxation, comfort, safety and community, and are a fine example of socially and environmentally responsible integrative design. Currently being tested in Belgium, the honeycomb shelters were developed by Achilles Design and Business Consultancy One Small Step, and produced and operated by social entrepreneurs at Compaan and Labeur, using durable and low eco-footprint materials. And while the project ensures optimum festival happiness, it also creates jobs for the socially and economically challenged workforce in Belgium.
