Budapest-based design studio Vinylize just launched a new lamp with a shade made from a repurposed vinyl record! The lamp is made from aluminum, and its cable, switch and plug hark back to the old days of quality through the use of bakelite and woven fibers. The lamp can be clamped to almost any surface, and it’s designed to be used with modern LED bulbs. The Vinylize lamp will be available to the public once it passes CE testing.
