The London office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) has won an international competition to build one of the tallest skyscrapers in Scandinavia with their design, The Polestar Tower. The 60-storey, 230-meter high building is part of an urban revitalization project for the Swedish city of Gothenburg in celebration of the city’s 400th birthday.
