LEGO Tree Huggers Made of Recycled Bricks Pop Up in New York City

Tree huggers come in all shapes and sizes, but did you know that they even come in multicolored LEGOS? In honor of Earth Day, LEGO artist extraordinaire Nathan Sawaya crafted a quirky series of Hugman sculptures wrapping their arms around park trees in New York City. The life-size LEGO sculptures are built with approximately 50,000 recycled bricks, each individually signed by a visitor of The Art of the Brick exhibition at Discovery Times Square.
