Design firm Conceptual Devices designed a prefab aquaponic rooftop farm to capitalize on unused space in the city. Designed for Urban Farmers AG Basel, urban farm is created from two prefab modules that can be easily “dropped” onto almost any flat industrial rooftop. The structure serves as both an aquaponic greenhouse for the production of fish and vegetables as well as office space for administration, storage and dressing rooms.
